Luncheon in the forest celebrating Henk & Ina's wedding anniversary

The guests of honor at their luncheon

Robijn and Deb at the luncheon
(Rinske, Baukje and Fenna to the left)

Tim and Liese at the luncheon

Liese, Willem and Fenna throw balls (and sometimes apples) around in Henk & Ina's backyard.
We don't think they hit any cows, though (you had to be there).

Fenna and Tim in the game.

Both Fenna (left) and Liese caught baby frogs, but the frogs were quick to get away!

The windmill next door to Henk & Ina's house (foreground) is being restored.
Someone is going to mill grain there again. We got to go inside for the first time ever.

The windmill guys work with no harnesses, no ropes, nada.
And they didn't mind us walking all around while
they were working; they weren't worried about their liability.

Side view of Henk & Ina's as seen from the windmill landing.

The meadow and the river from the windmill landing.

Tim and Liese in front of the house across
the street as seen from the windmill landing

Zoom in. Nice long shadows..

Robijn marvels at the interior of the 1876 windmill with the lead contractor.
That's all these guys do is restore windmills.

The actual milling mechanism.

It's gonna look great!

A castle in Well, close to Henk and Ina's house in North Brabant.

Walking up to Henk & Ina's friend Ben's combination bed-and-breakfast/art and antique gallery.

Robijn, Henk & Ben in the African sculpture garden.
Henk's got the price list.

Ben's garden of African sculpture

Ben's garden of European sculpture
Just a few of Ben's many whimsical modern sculptures.
And a few more.

Ben displays one of his prize possessions, a carved wooden head from Burkina Faso.
It is one of only three believed to be outside the country.
The others are in the British Museum and a museum in Germany.

Admiring Ben's Botswana hut. He built it himself
of local materials according to a Botswana design.

Walking from Ben's to the Maritime Art Gallery down the street (dike).

Tim goofing on the balcony.
