Dutchman's hasn't changed

Very "welcoming" sign, isn't

Typical new oceanfront construction--MONSTROSITIES
This is the house Uncle Stephen's
family rented for many years on the ocean at N. 3rd Street in Surf City.
It is one of the very few
older, traditional homes left on the oceanfront.
Bert walks down the brand
new dunes to the pristine beach
winter beach--new dunes left,
no jetties anymore right

freezing out, the ocean looked very tempting
This is the house now standing
at 314 11th Street where our old house used to be.
and this is the house next
door, on the corner of 11th and Barnegat Ave
and this is the house on the
other side of our old one,
which looks the same as it
did back then
